چکیده
We present a real-time method for stabilizing video sequences taken from an oscillating camera. We estimate camera rotation (roll) and translation on the image plane with Fourier spectrum analysis and Integral projection matching and then filter-out high-frequency motion components (presumably due to unintentional oscillation) , preserving intentional motion.

A New RSTB Invariant Image Template Matching Based on Log-Spectrum and Modified ICA
Template matching is a widely used technique in many of image processing and machine vision applications. In this paper we propose a new as well as a fast and reliable template matching algorithm which is invariant to Rotation, Scale, Translation and Brightness (RSTB) changes. For this purpose, we adopt the idea of ring projection transform (RPT) of image. In the proposed algorithm, two novel s...
متن کاملFast and Robust 2D Parametric Image Registration
Camera stabilization is an important task for video analysis. In this report, we describe a method for estimating and stabilizing camera motion between two images via 2D image registration. Our approach is based on a pair-wise registration of images parameterized by 2D affine or projective transformation. Pair-wise image registration estimates transformation parameters for each pair of consecut...
متن کامل2D fast rotational matching for image processing of biophysical data.
In 3D single particle reconstruction, which involves the translational and rotational matching of a large number of electron microscopy (EM) images, the algorithmic performance is largely dependent on the efficiency and accuracy of the underlying 2D image alignment kernel. We present a novel fast rotational matching kernel for 2D images (FRM2D) that significantly reduces the cost of this alignm...
متن کاملMotion detection by a moving observer using Kalman filter and neural network in soccer robot
In many autonomous mobile applications, robots must be capable of analyzing motion of moving objects in their environment. Duringmovement of robot the quality of images is affected by quakes of camera which cause high errors in image processing outputs. In thispaper, we propose a novel method to effectively overcome this problem using Neural Networks and Kalman Filtering theory. Thistechnique u...
متن کاملFast System Matrix Calculation in CT Iterative Reconstruction
Introduction: Iterative reconstruction techniques provide better image quality and have the potential for reconstructions with lower imaging dose than classical methods in computed tomography (CT). However, the computational speed is major concern for these iterative techniques. The system matrix calculation during the forward- and back projection is one of the most time- cons...
